April has come to bid us goodbye, and I can say the same for my sanity. I feel like April was just… tiring, but also vibrant and inspiring. You know how on one end, there’s a swirl of grays and blues and on the opposite end, there’s a spinning yarn dipped in lemon yellow, sky blue, teal, golden orange, and streaks of white. In short: There is no middle ground. It’s either that dark and dull swirl or that colorful, colorful yarn.

Okay, enough blathering. Let’s get to the heart of today’s post. Buckle up because I talked a lot more than usual.

“Goodbye Earth” kdrama: first two episodes impressions

I’ll be honest: When I first heard the title, I thought, “Is this a sci-fi drama about aliens bidding farewell to our planet?” Spoiler alert: It’s not, but oh boy, is it a wild ride!

Rainy weather, part-time insomniac

I feel like words fail me now, and all thoughts and feelings that come with that statement? They are swiftly followed by the urge to just sleep and sleep and sleep. The rainy weather we’ve been having recently is like a slice of sunshine in my little corner of the world. I used to hate rainy days with passion, but I’ve come to appreciate it the older I grew.

I’ve been cobbling together some words for this romantic comedy I’ve been writing and it’s been rough lately. Why do the scenes look so good in my head, but when I write them I feel like something’s lacking? šŸ˜… I think I have evolved into a creature who is just screaming words out into the void.

All right. Tangent comes to a full stop now. Who else here has been watching ongoing dramas (Korean dramas)? Please make yourself known, because I’d love to get to know more fellow kdrama fans.

October things: Kdrama romcoms and thrillers + my first ever published story

This month was an abysmal one for blogging. There’s a reason behind it Ā but I think it’s best saved for another time. On the bright side: While being an absentee blogger Ā my writing side projects were Ā for the most part Ā going okay. There really are clients who are so hard to deal with when it comes to payments. Aside from problematic clients Ā IĆm proud to say that my writing (copywriting and fiction writing) has been prolific. I’m sure Grammarly would be proud of me Ā too. My initial plan back in September was to focus on my kdrama website, Ramyeon & Reviews. I had my content calendar all ready for October. I had so much fun searching for and piecing together blog topics! But things happened and I had to push back all the fun and creepy posts. Who’s up for Nightmarish November instead?

It feels SO GOOD as I type this down. It feels like forever since I last blogged. I figured IĆd drop by here and fill you in with what made October worth it.
