The last couple of days of October just melted tog

The last couple of days of October just melted together with the first few days of November. I honestly can’t keep track of what happened when or where. 😵‍💫 All I know is that:

- I ate good food.
- I finished a short horror story.
- I’ve visited the hospital more than once for check-ups and lab tests.
- I’ve consumed more than one horror book.
- I’m 🆎 positive.
- I can finally drink coffee again!!!! *shrieks with utmost joy and excitement* This is a big deal for me, guys. I haven’t had coffee since 2018, and now I can. 🥲

I recently finished “The Saturday Night Ghost Club” by Craig Davidson. His writing style reeled me in. I like it a lot. (That’s another blathering for another post.) Then I began reading “Confessions” by Kanae Minato.

May your November be kind, your pillows always soft and fluffy, your coffee/tea delicious, and your nights beautiful — perfect for dreams and sound sleep. 🌙🎑

Also? Don’t you need me like I need you now?
Sleep tomorrow, but tonight go crazy… 🎶 😆

I finished this novella pretty quickly. The horrifying thing in this book isn’t just seeing the ghost of Benjamin Hardy III. More than that, it’s how it latches onto you once you’ve watched his video. You watch, you lose… your life, that is.

“Scanlines” is the story of three boys who grew up in the 90s. They were looking for porn and got a grisly footage of a congressman dying instead. Ever since watching it, their lives have never been the same again. In the worst ways possible.

How do you beat a ghost who’s out for blood, killing everyone on its path? It reminds me of the Lady in the Lake in “The Haunting of Bly Manor” series in that sense.

Do you even ever get out of this kind of horror? Read this to find out.

How is spooky season going for you? October has been so full, and I didn’t see that coming. I wish Halloween itself will slow down. 🎃 Speaking of my favorite day of the year…

Do you have plans for Halloween? We’ll be watching some horror movies while snacking on all the junk we could fit in our mouths. 😆

I recently finished “We Have Always Lived in the Castle” by Shirley Jackson and “Scanlines” by Todd Keisling. Good stuff! Yesterday, I started with “The Saturday Night Ghost Club.” We’ll see how that one goes.

I can’t believe we only have two months left in 2024. 🙃

I’ve been watching “The Judge from Hell” kdr

I’ve been watching “The Judge from Hell” kdrama and it’s been one of the best this year! 👌

I thought it would be intense and dramatic. Instead, I got comedy with murderers, an unsolved killing from years ago, and a sad boyfriend/girlfriend case thrown into the mix. I’m not complaining because everything in this kdrama is working well and delivering its plot to perfection.

We’ve got Justitia, the demon in charge of sending murderers to hell (Gehenna). When she makes a mistake on sending Judge Kang Bit Na to hell, she gets punished for it. While she spends time on Earth in Bit Na’s body, she only has one year to send 20 souls to hell. Otherwise, there’ll be hell to pay. (Pun intended. 😁)

She tries to get Han Da On, a kind-hearted and sharp detective, on her side but he’s not so easily swayed or frightened. It may be true that the demon Justitia’s got sass, but the guy’s got nerves made of steel. In the short amount of time they know each other, Da On is quick on the uptake and easily recovers from all the stunts that Justitia pulls.

It’s a kdrama that will make you laugh and at the same time will keep you wondering:
1️⃣ Who killed (the real) Judge Kang Bit Na?
2️⃣ Who is the serial killer who haven’t been caught all these years?
3️⃣ What is Bit Na’s ex-fiancé hiding? And his brother as well.
4️⃣ What will happen when Bit Na and Da On fall in love? Who will die? Wait. Can they just both not die? 😭

“The Judge from Hell” has 6 episodes out as I type this. I’ve only watched up to the fourth episode and I can’t wait to watch the recent two! *screams in gwenchana*

I finally tried the bibimyeon and 🥵🌶️😭.

I finally tried the bibimyeon and 🥵🌶️😭. To finish half of it, I had to add cheese. Then I had a glass of Milo and some leftover fresh milk while eating. It was tasty, but I think I’ll stick with Nissin’s Yakisoba. That’s the only acceptable level of spiciness I can tolerate. 😅

I still have the Quattro Cheese Buldak left to try. Maybe during the weekend. My sister already questioned me more than once what am I even doing??!? I told her I’m being adventurous. That’s what. 😆

On the other hand, I am happy to report that the Pepero was tasty, as always. 😌 (I love Pepero! 😍) And the strawberry Milkis was delicious. I didn’t eat the milk essence milk sheet, but I maybe I should have because it smelled so good. 😁
