
I cannot believe my last post was November 30th last year. Not gonna lie: I’m still thinking if I should keep this blog. It’s time I come to terms with the fact that personal blogging isn’t the same as it was in the early to mid-2000s. I do miss those old-school blogs, where strangers share what happened in their daily lives and other strangers leave comments. Before you know it, you have formed this amazing bond with strangers from all over the world as you discuss TV series, books, and music. LiveJournal was great. Aside from the community, they have the “current mood” feature, where others create and share images and/or gifs of celebrities and TV series. I remember mine was “Supernatural.” (You can check Lana’s Livejournal to see it in action.)
But eh. We’ll see. I do still love spilling my thoughts here every now and then.
4.5 months later: No lighthouse gifted to me, but I do have a new horror comedy
Yeah. No one gave me a lighthouse during the holidays. So disappointing. While I can’t be inside a lighthouse typing away furiously as I write my next story on Patreon, I did manage to sneak in some writing during late nights, usually after work. I’ve already started releasing it on my Patreon community, and will also publish it soon on my new Substack, Soft Launch Drafts.
The story is called “Can’t Stan, Too Haunted.” It’s got k-pop, chaos, and ghosts, and my favorite scene is where the female lead reluctantly attends the concert, and things just get so awkward and hilarious. 😂 Here’s what the short story is about, basic mode (other modes are elevator pitch mode and blurb mode 😁):
